Come and try your hand at the dying art of hedge laying taking place on the Broadlands estate on Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th of February. Meet in the car park by the shops at 9.30am.

It’s great that the old skills like hedgelaying are being kept alive by people like Rob and Howell who are generous in sharing their knowledge with the likes of me, a mere pensioner. We worked hard on Sat. 26th Feb., spurred on by friendly insults and banter and laughed our way through the morning. It was a brilliant few hours with a great sense of job satisfaction at the end. I’d reccommend it to anyone. Thanks guys.
