Sunday 20th March 10am – Beach Clean at Kenfig Nature Reserve

Sunday 20th March  10am – 2pm (ish) at  Kenfig National Nature Reserve  This is a Marine Conservation Society Recorded Beach clean

Please don’t feel that you have to stay the whole time (even a couple of hours would be great!) – but if you could arrive at 10am then we can be sure that enough equipment is taken down to the beach for all the participants.

Bring sturdy walking boots, warm clothing, lunch and hot drink – litter picking equipment will be provided.

Meet at the Kenfig Visitor Centre (ample car parking available).

Children 10 + yrs of age welcome but must be supervised at all times with parent/guardian.

This is the first of four recorded beach cleans we do throughout the year.

Check the Bridgend log (if you subscribe –free- you will automatically be notified of any new postings)  and also the MCS web page

 On-going volunteering events:

We have other events/projects running this year where volunteers can help so please ring 01656 743386 or call at the reserve centre for more information.

    Great stuff guys!

Perhaps you could drop me an e-mail from time when you have events happening and I can promote them on my nature blog?

I only live down the road from here so would have come along if I’d known it was happening.

    Next time!
