Sker Rocks Beach Clean ( Sat 18th Sep)

These ten brave souls picked litter on Sker Beach last Sunday (18 Sep). The weather was wild and wet but they did well and completed the annual ‘Beachwatch’ survey of 100 metres of beach. Fifteen bags of litter were collected. The Marine Conservation Society survey took place on coastlines throughout the UK over the weekend to find what is littering our shores. Litter is a serious issue at sea and society needs to turn the tide on marine pollution.

A big ‘thank you’ to everyone involved!
