Not enough litter-pickers to go round! – Beach Clean at Newton Burrows

Beach Clean at Newton Burrows 10th March 2012 (aka Not enough litter pickers to go around!!)

A big thank you to the 21, (yes 21) people who turned up for the Newton Beach Clean on Saturday 10th March.  In addition to regular volunteers, it was great to see some new faces and some young beach cleaners too.  Despite the lack of litter pickers, we managed to collect an impressive 50 bags of rubbish, 3 Christmas trees and a palm tree, but alas no partridge in a pear tree!!
