A ‘roaring’ success! – Porthcawl Lions litter pick Sat 31st March

We did the pick on Saturday and found that the Surfers against Sewage had done a very good job on the first part of the foreshore from Rest Bay but the second part was in a bit of  a  state and thus we did not get anywhere near Sker. In fact we did a 2 hour pick but just managed to get as far as Pink Bay. We did over 20 bags which we put over the fence of Royal Porthcawl and were complimented in doing so by several lady members who were playing at the time.

Brian was there from Tidy Wales and we are volunteering to do our usual pick again on Saturday 28th April re their Coastal Path event.

Thanks to everyone who helped!
