Bryngarw Balsam Bashed! – 7th July

We welcomed 2 new volunteers who braved the inclement July weather – Charlene and her son Josh, plus 5 regulars, Dan and Helen.

Although the weather wasn’t great, we managed to do 4 hours work and cleared quite a large stretch of balsam from the coppicing area by the Beech Avenue.

There’s still a huge amount to do though, so  a few extra hours between volunteer sessions will be needed.

The new visitor centre is looking lovely and hopefully will be open by the time of our next scheduled event on 4th August.

Thanks Leigh for the feedback and ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos – you’ve all done a great job!
