Beach Clean @ Newton Burrows 9th March 2013

Beach Clean @ Newton Burrows 9th March 2013

It was a lovely, yet cold day for Saturday’s beach clean at Newton. Although the dunes looked quite clear of litter at first glance, we manged to collect 20 bags of litter.  Not a bad bit of work for 2 hours litter picking.  Thanks to Val, Sandra, Chris Lin and mad Leigh.  As ever, Brian from Keep Wales Tidy also provided a truck and trailer to help us move the rubbish to its pick up point.  Thanks to everyone!

Rob 🙂

    Mad Leigh indeed!!!

Sat with a beer in a restaurant in Side, Turkey overlooking the sea. And it’s got wifi.

Loads of rubbish though. I think we should venture further than Newton. Plenty to do here & it’s warm xx

didn’t know of this beach clean, saw no advertising locally. Porthcawl First and Porthcawl tried this beach last month , weather too bad. Seems to be a lot of beach cleaners who don’t know of each others existence, lol ! Perhaps you, Porthcawl lions, Porthcawl First, SAS, and others, should get together on these.
