Who’s a pretty birdie?

Here are some wonderful pictures of some of our waterfowl taken recently from the southern hide at Kenfig Pool by Adrian Morrison. They are truly outstanding and many thanks to Adrian for sharing them  and allowing me to use them on the Countryside blog.

It is thanks to the hard work of volunteers that such pictures are possible. Volunteers provided the muscle power when the hide was built and the reeds in front are carefully cut and cleared each autumn on volunteer events to provide good wildlife habitat.

If you would like to know more about volunteering events at Kenfig then give Dave (Reserve Manager) a call on 01656 743386, or for any of our other Countryside events get in touch with Rob on 01656 643160.

Have a great Easter!
