*****POSTPONED – Balsam Bash on 25th May********

Dear all,

Due to the weather conditions over the last month or a lot of plants are a bit behind, and the Himalayan balsam is no exception.  As we need to pull the balsam when the plant is at a fair size this is not possible at the current time and therefore, I will have to postpone this event for the time being, but I will re-schedule it for late June/ July, so watch this space.

In the meantime, please send through your wildlife sightings, providing a photograph and grid reference where possible or as detailed a location as you can provide.  We will get you sightings sent through to the SE Wales Biological records Centre, with the record accredited to you and the more interesting sightings we will also Blog.

Hope to see you on the flower walk at Lock’s Common on the 8th June (10am-12pm meet at Rest Bay Lifeguards’ Hut).

 All the best,
